Many of their papers are published in major domestic and international journals. The department also helpto publish the English journal PanPacific Management Review (PPMR), a bi-annual publication which publishes papers by scholars all over the world and begins to gain its momentum on the road of excellence.

The curriculum structure includes the common core (32 credits required for all I-Shou students), the professional core (67 credits required for all students in Business Administration), the professional electives (35 credits), and the general electives (10 credits). While the core and elective professional courses cover all areas in management and business, the common core and general elective courses focus primarily on humanities and liberal arts.

The Department is trying to globalize itself by encouraging the faculty to increase using English textbooks and by encouraging the students to apply for exchange student status with our sister schools abroad. Among other efforts, we will continue to expand our network with the industrial communities to enrich teaching and research and to make further contribution to the "outer world". In parallel, the Department has made it a continuous endeavor to recruit highly enthusiastic scholars, those with an adequate doctorate are welcome to apply.
